Our mentors aren't admissions consultants who have never gone down the BS/MD or pre-med path: they are students and scholars at the institutions your child dreams of attending. They’ve mastered the path, and now they’re sharing the blueprint that led to their success. Here are some of our brilliant mentors you'll be working with through the Nexus mentorship program.
Mentorship has been instrumental in my journey toward becoming a surgeon, and I hope to pay that support forward by mentoring others. Teaching, sharing knowledge, and helping students navigate challenges is incredibly meaningful to me. Seeing students grow, reach their potential, and achieve their goals brings me genuine joy and a strong sense of purpose. Speciality Areas: Academic Development, Research, Special Projects, Narrative Writing
I hope to provide consistent, approachable guidance that helps students build confidence in their academic abilities and long-term goals. Drawing on my tutoring experience, I aim to meet mentees where they are, break down complex science topics into manageable concepts, and model effective study and problem-solving strategies. I aim to serve as a supportive role model who encourages curiosity, resilience, and self-advocacy. Ultimately, my goal is to help mentees see challenging paths as achievable and to empower them to pursue their ambitions with clarity and confidence. Specialty Areas: STEM Tutoring, Interview Prep, Research Outreach

Mentorship has been central to my path throughout my career.. I'm drawn to Nexus because of its commitment to making high-quality, structured guidance accessible to students who might otherwise navigate this process without support. As I transition into residency, I want to channel that experience into something meaningful for the next generation of aspiring physicians. I want to pay forward all the support I've received over the years to the next generation of students, especially those who may not be as privileged as me. I've gained a lot of insight throughout this whole premed process so far, and I find it fulfilling to pass this on to help others. Specialty Areas: Wet lab research, Biology
I bring a thorough understanding of the college admission process across both traditional and BS/MD pathways. In addition to my acceptance into my current early assurance program, I received acceptances from highly ranked schools such as Rice University, NYU, and UT Austin. Through high school and my application cycle, I developed a strong understanding of how to build a competitive application, including careful extracurricular selection, coursework selection, and standardized test preparation, culminating in a cohesive personal narrative. I have used this same framework to help my peers gain acceptance into the A&M early assurance program by strategically framing their experiences and providing interview guidance. I have also assisted friends applying through the traditional medical school cycle with extracurricular planning, essay review, and school list construction, contributing to multiple MD acceptances. Working through the medical school application with my peers reinforced my advising approach and the importance of crafting a story. Specialty Areas: Research Opportunities, Narrative Building, Teaching
